Chantilly lace in a fitted, cropped cut, with scalloped edges at the sleeves and hem and a row of small buttons down the front. The lace is worked with denser patterned areas, so it reads delicate without being see-through. Chalk is the soft off-white that flatters everything. Lovely over a camisole with tailored trousers, and just as good with jeans if the occasion happens to be a Tuesday.
